Recruiting Process
At Grote, we believe that building relationships is key to everyone's success, so we have made the first step to establishing those relationships an easy one for our future Grote team member:
Step 1:
Interested persons need to complete the online application process for an open position. Once completed, our applicant tracking system will send an automatic message informing each candidate of the receipt of resume.
Step 2:
A member from our Human Resources team reviews all submitted resumes daily. If there is a match, your resume will be sent to the hiring manager for review. Upon completion of the review, the hiring manager will select those candidates of interest for the position and an HR team member will schedule those candidates for a phone interview*.
Step 3:
Successful candidates selected from the phone interviews will be invited to Grote Industries for an onsite interview**.
Step 4:
Selected candidates for the position will be contacted and extended a formal offer.
Please keep in mind that the interview process can take anywhere from two weeks to one month, depending on the timing of our hiring process.
*Phone interview/phone screen details: If your resume has been selected for an open position, you be will contacted to set up a phone interview. During the phone interview you may be asked more specific questions related to your knowedge, skils and abilities and how they relate to the position.
**On-site interview details: If you pass the phone interview, you will be invited onsite interview at Grote Industries with the hiring manager and other team members. We try to arrange for this first interview to be onsite for a three- to four-hour block of time. If you are not able to drive to our location, then we will discuss the option of flying you in for the onsite interview.
